General Admission Requirements.
- All Candidates who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti but did not obtain a minimum cut-off mark of 150 in the 2019/2020 UTME can apply.
- In addition to the above, Candidates must possess five (5) O’ level relevant subject requirements at Credit level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
- Candidates who scored below 150 in the last UTME but did not choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as choice Institution can also apply.

1. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STUDIES
Applicants must possess WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O’Level with Credit passes in five (5) relevant subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.
A .Accountancy
Applicants must possess O’Level Credit passes in five (5) relevant subjects which must include:
English and Mathematics
Any one (1) of Economics/Commerce, Accounting/Book Keeping,
Plus any two (2) of Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry/Chemistry/ Physics, ICT/Data Processing/Computer, Economics/Commerce, Accounting/Book Keeping, Govemment/Civic Education, Geography
B. Banking & Finance
Applicants must possess five credits passes as stated in “A” above
C. Business Administration and Management
Applicants must possess five credit passes as stated in “A” above
D. Marketing
Applicant must possess five credit passes as stated in “A” above
E. Office Technology and Management
Applicant must possess five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects which must include:
English and Mathematics

B. Agricultural Technology
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subj ects which must include:
English, Mathematics, Chemistry and one (1) of Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry
Plus any one (1) of Physics, Economics, Geography, ICT, Data Processing, Computer, Statistics, Food & Nutrition
C. Civil Engineering
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subj ects which must include:
English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
Plus any one (1) of Technical Drawing, Building Drawing, Economics, Further Mathematics, Data Processing, ICT, Computer, Statistics, Civic Education, Geography, Building Construction, Block Laying, Decoration, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Carpentry and Joinery, Woodwork.
However, candidates with NABTEB O’Level results must have a credit pass in a related Trade Subject in addition to the Credit passes in five (5) O’Level subject requirements.
D. Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects which must include:
English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Plus any one (1) of Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Electrical Installation & Maintenance Works, Radio/Television and Electrical Works,
Appliances Maintenance and Repairs, Instrument Mechanics, Building Drawing, Basic Electronics/Electricity, ICT, Data Processing, Computer However, candidates with NABTEB O’ Level results must have a credit pass in a related Trade Subject in addition to the Credit passes in five (5) O’Level subject requirements.
OR National Technical Certificate (NTC) issued by National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) with Credit Passes in Mathematics, Integrated Science, English Language, Physics and a core subject in Electrical/Electronic Trade Areas which can he in any of the underlisted.

E. Mechanical Engineering
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subj ects which must include:

However, candidates withNABTEB O’ Level results must have a credit pass in a related Trade Subject relevant to Mechanical Engineering in addition to the Credit passes in five (5) O’Level subject requirements. OR National Technical Certificate (NABTEB) in Mechanical Trade
Areas with 5 Credit Passes in Metal Work/Technical Drawing, English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Physical Science (i.e. Physics and Chemistry).
F. Minerals and Petroleum Resources Engineering Technology
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects which must include:

C. Mathematics and Statistics
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subj ects which must include:
English and Mathematics
One (1) Basic Science subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science
Plus any two (2) of Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Govemment/Civic Education, Economics/Commerce, Further Mathematics, Statistics, ICT/Data Processing/Computer
D. Science Technology
Applicants must possess WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O’Level with Credit passes in five (5) relevant subjects which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(ii) plus any one (1) of Biology/Agricultural Science, Animal Husbandry
HOW TO APPLY FOR Federal Poly Ado-Ekiti ND Part-Time
The application is in two stages viz:
STAGE 1:
Log on to JAMB CAPS website and register via www.jamb.org.ng/efacility
You need a valid E-mail Address, Phone Number and the sum of N3,500:00 payable to JAMB through Remita. This will enable you obtain a JAMB Registration Number.
STAGE 2
Candidates should visit the Polytechnic website students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on applicants to generate and print application payment invoice.
After clicking on applicants, click on generate invoice, next click the drop-down menu under PROGRAMME and select ND EVENING; next, click on the drop-down menu under COURSE to select your desired course of choice; afterwards, enter required personal details; then, click generate invoice.
Upon printing of invoice, Candidates can proceed to any bank of their choice along side the invoice generated and make payment of N11,500.00 on the Remita Platform.
Candidates can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. (Note: before payment with debit card, print your Invoice).
After payment, Candidates should revisit the School Portal and fill their application forms using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the Candidate’s name.
Candidates should endeavour to print their acknowledgement slip and application form.Candidates are advised to carefully read through their forms before submission.
Candidates should endeavour to upload details of O’level subjects to JAMB portal.
