States That Resume Schools Today, Monday, 4th January, 2021
Following the Federal Government directive that schools should resume on Monday, 18th January as published by Edustuff, some of the States government have Announced resumption date for schools.
Meanwhile, the states have different dates of resumption, some State will reopen schools before others maybe due to the situation of the second wave of covid-19 in their state which may not be alarming.
We’ve Lagos State, the Resumption Date for schools in the state was Postponed due to the high rate of cases of covid-19 recorded everyday, Osun state also Postponed the resumption of schools till further notice.
Below are the states that reopen schools today:
Nasarawa State Schools
The Nasarawa state Government Fixes today, Monday, 4th January, 2021 as the Resumption Date for the Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools in the State for the commencement of first (1st) term academic activities for 2020/2021 academic session.
According to the information provided to Edustuff, the schools are to resume contrary directive subsequently.
Akwa Ibom State Schools
In order to complete the First Term academic activities, Public, Private Primary and Secondary in Akwa Ibom resumes today Monday, 4th January, 2021.
Rivers State Schools
All Secondary Schools and Vocational Schools in Rivers State resumes today, Monday, 4th January, 2021 for the completion of first (1st) term academic activities for 2020/2021 academic session.

Meanwhile, Schools are to maintain all COVID-19 Protocols, including the wearing of face masks, use of hand sanitizers and staggered classes/ morning and afternoon sessions in order to avoid overcrowding.
