The Kano State government announces resumption date for JSS1, SS1 students in the state for full reopening of schools which is both the Private schools and the public schools to continue the academic activities after been told to stay at home for five weeks.
This information was made known to the public on Wednesday in a statement made by the but the state’s Commissioner for education, Muhammad Sanusi-Kiru.
The commissioner directed the Directors/Principals and other stakeholders to be prepared for the resumption exercise.
JSS-1 and SS-1 students in boarding Schools are to resume on Sunday, November 15 and those in the Day schools are to resume on Monday, November 16 2020.
He said:
“The pupils of Primary schools 1-6 should also resume fully from Monday, Nov. 16, as against the earlier directives that categorises dates for their going to school.”
