Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, AAUA revised Academic Calendar Schedule for First continuation of 2019/2020 Academic Session.
All the students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, AAUA should be informed that the management of the institution has released and published the revised undergraduate academic calendar for the continuation of 2019/2020 academic session.
The Academic Calendar breakdown has been published below:
Senate at its Emergency Meeting held on Tuesday 12th January, 2021 discussed the resumption of students for the remaining part of the First Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Session.
Senate while discussing the matter Observed as follows:
The First Semester examinations for the 2019/2020 Academic Session was to have commenced on the 8th March, 2020.
That the lock down occasioned by the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic prevented the Examinations from holding.
That students had been home since March, 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 lock down and ASUU strike.
Senate, after deliberations, Approved the reviewed Academic calendar for the remaining part of the First Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Session as follows:

Please, note that all public holidays within the Academic Calendar shall be observed.
- End of semester break (one week), Saturday 20th – Saturday, 27th February, 2021.
Senate also Directed that Students and Staff should comply with the underlisted COVID-19 protocols so as to curb the spread of the pandemic.
- Wearing face mask at all times on campus (Lecture Halls, Examination Halls, Hostels and offices.
- Maintenance of social distancing at all times.
- Washing of hands at the entrances to the University and entrances of lecture Halls and Examination venues.
- Use of hand sanitizers at the various points of entry into the University and lecture as well as Examination Venues.
- Please note that the policy of no mask no entry would be strictly enforced and the use of face mask by staff and students would be strictly monitored.
