Primary & secondary school students between the ages of 9 and 15 have been invited by MTN Nigeria to participate in the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition 2023.
The competition is Nigeria’s first ever digital Spelling Bee competition.
This year’s tournament promises to be exciting, with scholarships and other prizes totaling up to 18 million Naira on the line.

Interview Date, Process and Venue The competition is meticulously structured into three distinct phases:
- Preliminary Round: The first stage will be hosted on the MTN mPulse website. Here, the top 1,000 students will be shortlisted for the next phase.
- Semi-Final Round: Also carried out on the mPulse website, this round will determine the 20 highest-scoring students who will progress to the final stage.
- Grand Finale: This is the culminating point of the competition, where finalists will be invited to a physical event to determine the ultimate winners.

MTN mPulse Spelling Bee 2023 Competition Eligibility
- Applicants must be resident in Nigeria.
- Applicants phone number used for registration must be on mPulse tariff plan. Dial 3441# or text mPulse to 344 to migrate your phone number to the mPulse tariff plan.
- Applicants must have successfully updated their profile on the mPulse website
- Applicants must have successfully linked with their parent(s) on the mPulse website
- The Competition is open to only boys and girls in Primary and Secondary schools in Nigeria who are between 9 and 15 years old as at 22nd August 2023.
