National Housing Programme 2021: See the Federal Government National Housing Programme (NHP) portal, list of prices, how to apply and more https://nhp.worksandhousing.gov.ng.
The Federal Government has launched a website to sell completed houses under the National Housing Program (NHP) in 34 states and the federal capital territory (FCT), the portal was launched by the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola.
According to NAN, approximately 5,000 residences are available for purchase in phases one and two in 34 states and the FCT, while phase three is being built in Rivers and Lagos states.

- Tax clearance
- Pay slip
- Means of identification
- Letter of recommendation
- Evidence of 10 per cent initial deposit (for mortgage subscribers only)

The platform was created by the government to ensure that all Nigerians interested in owning any of the kinds of houses have an equal opportunity to apply, own them, and for the process to be transparent.
FG National Housing Programme Prices
The houses are available in one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and duplex configurations, with prices ranging from N9 million to N16 million depending on the buyer’s preferences.
How to Apply for National Housing Programme Scheme
Follow the steps below to apply for the Federal Government National Housing Programme (NHP):
- Kindly visit the National Housing Scheme portal via https://nhp.worksandhousing.gov.ng
- Click on Register button
- Input Your Name
- Enter your Phone number and Email address in the required column
- Set You password and register
- After Verification, you can complete your application.
NB: Applicants can also take a virtual tour of the property they are interested in.
Part of the statement from the minister:
“We have a variety of contractors; the first are medium-sized firms run by Nigerians.
“There will also be foreign enterprises involved, giving them the opportunity to contribute not only to sustainable development but also to their employees,” he added.
Fashola praised the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) for being at the forefront of the federal government’s cooperative housing effort.
He advised the FMBN and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) to use the platform to sell their own inventory of homes and properties.
