UI To Hold First Semester Online 2020/2021, Gives Notice
The University of Ibadan, UI to hold first semester 2020/2021 academic session lectures online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This was made known to the public and Edustuff by The University of Ibadan Director of Public Communication, Tunji Oladejo in a statement on Thursday, February 4, in Ibadan.
According to him, the university’s Senate, which is the highest decision-making organ in the institution, approved the commencement of online lectures for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic session.
He added that the opening of the registration portal and the orientation program for the 2020/2021 session will commence on or before Saturday, 20 February 2021 for new students.
The statement also directs new students and the general public to disregard information regarding the opening of students’ registration portal for allocation of accommodation, no student will be allowed access to accommodation on the campus, as academic activities will be held online.
