Will JAMB Extend Registration Deadline Date for 2021? We’ve been receiving questions from interested applicants who have not been able to register for the 2021 UTME/DE due to the problem caused by NIN on the course of generating profile code via Edustuff.JAMB 2021: Will JAMB Extend Registration Deadline Date for UTME/DE?

In a stat released by Premium Times in an article, Edustuff learnt that only 1,012,000 candidates have so far registered for the UTME and about 30,000 candidates for the DE programme 72 hours to the May 15 deadline.

This figure is low when compared to about 1.9 million UTME and 200,000 DE candidates already captured within the same period in 2020.

As at Wednesday about 600,000 prospective candidates, who have initiated the registration process, are yet to receive the required profile codes meant to be transported to their mobile lines by the network operators.

It was also made known that the director of public affairs and protocol for the examination body, Fabian Benjamin, has refused to comment on the matter. He said he would respond to the enquiry ‘soon’.

According to Information we got, The examination body are to meet with ‘stakeholders’ including members of various groups such as civil societies and media ahead of the examination.

Will JAMB Extend Registration Deadline Date 2021?

One of the meeting will hold on Friday, May 14, where the JAMB registrar, Is-haq Oloyede, is expected to address the groups. He may use the occasion to announce the deadline extension, as we all look forward to seeing the decision the JAMB registrar will make.
