There Is No Recruitment into Federal Civil Service Commission Yet – Nigerian Govt
There have been different articles online concerning the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) recruitment for 2021 but the Federal Government said that there is no recruitment yet.
If we can recall, a ban has been placed on the recruitment or employment into Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) by President Muhammadu Buhari May 15, 2020 when a letter was forwarded by the Head of Service of the Federation (HOSF).
This information was communicated to the public by Tukur lngawa, the Chairman who reminds the public of the existence of ban on the recruitment.
When Will Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) Start Recruitment?
The recruitment will start after the Head of Service of the Federation (HOSF) lifts the ban on the FCSC employment.
Eniola Babaoye, Deputy Director of Press in the FCSC office, issued a statement on Wednesday.
lngawa said his immediate commitment was to discharge the mandates of the core values of Nigeria’s civil service.
The chairman noted that the FCSC had adhered strictly to extant rules and regulations since he assumed office.
“Thus, FCSC did not and will not recruit until a waiver is granted by the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation”, the statement read.
